We have our very own Family Engagement Officer here at Ysgol Trefonnen, currently the only school in Powys to have one in post. Jen works closely with our families and supports them in engaging with school life. Our FEO has access to a number of agencies who provide advice and assistance, she also arranges free courses for families within our school.

One important project to us here at Ysgol Trefonnen is the Food and Fun Programme, which is funded by the Welsh Government and is coordinated and run by Jen during the Summer holidays. It is free for our families and open to children in KS2. A free breakfast and lunch are provided as well as physical activities, nutrition sessions and day trips.

Jen is available daily for support, a chat, or direction to other services that may help. Everyone is welcome.

Smart Pennies is held every Friday morning at 8.30am. Both parents and children are invited to save with Credit Union. For further information, please see Jen.
